some wisdom

while I see all around me so much devotion in god that I am having my repulsion to such people

i do not believe it is love for god and you do not need so many gods and their agents do your puja

it is like investment for more and more

the hunger is little bit not too much for my comfort

i went to give some prasad to joya's friends house - i cannot approve of such devotion

the day joya came that evening he was in my house - i invited him for tea

he asked when joya is coming but i was assuming i shall have my freedom of living and eating for some more time and she came that night

he now doubted that i bluffed him - it was not so but who cares - i have no curiosity for her

i then told him a short story about what is good and what is bad

i said i see people do puja to avoid bad times and dangers while it is opposite - when you live in danger the god is resident in your house in person in order to save you from your danger

Bhishma was weeping in his bed of arrows - he was not person to shed tears and he could will his death any time! when asked what is the reason for his tears - he said that Pandavas would win is inevitable since the god is their companion. but god is with them always why they are in trouble always, day and night?

Do I have a question for which I need an answer from another person - I am not enough? If I am unable to answer my question can another person help me?

I have been asking this to me for my entire adult life. I often did not attend classes. I read some notes of others for limited time before exam. If I did not understand then I did not understand. I did not think it could be learnt from the teacher directly. On the other hand I did avoid teachers who were teaching without knowing the subject. I did not waste time with them.

Upanishads were written about three thousands years before. I do not know Sanskrit. For that matter my knowledge of English or Bengali is poor. Yet I know essential Upanishads by heart. Understanding comes slowly over years. For example it puzzling when Yajnavalkya say about the question of root of human being? Where it is and what it is? That presumably is not born and nor dies. He then answers the question thus - knower of brahman refers to it as THAT. He made no direct reference to himself. He did not claim himself as knower of brahman, yet he claimed himself among all present as having greater awareness than all.

Answer to all question is the environment that floats the question
